At Darkhoot Fashions Private Limited, we are committed to delivering premium quality products and a seamless shopping experience. Every order is carefully inspected before dispatch. However, if you require assistance with a return, exchange, or refund, please review the policy below.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are accepted only if the following conditions are met:
- The request is raised within [7] days from the date of delivery.
- The product is:
- Unused and unwashed
- In original condition
- Free from stains, perfume, damage, or alteration
- Returned with original tags, packaging, and invoice intact
Items that do not meet these conditions may not qualify for return or exchange approval.
2. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene, safety, and quality assurance reasons, the following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
- Innerwear and hygiene-sensitive products
- Customized or made-to-order items
- Gift cards
- Clearance, promotional, or final sale products
- Products damaged due to misuse, improper care, or customer handling
3. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged, defective, tampered, incorrect, or incomplete order, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
To process such claims, the following are mandatory:
- Order number
- Clear photographs/videos of the issue
- A complete unedited unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed package is opened until the product is fully displayed
The unboxing video serves as mandatory verification for all damage, missing item, and incorrect product claims. Claims submitted without a complete unedited video may not qualify for replacement, exchange, or refund approval.
Upon successful verification, we will provide an appropriate resolution, including replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund, at our discretion.
4. Size & Fit Disclaimer
We strongly recommend reviewing the size chart provided on each product page before placing an order. Fit and sizing may vary depending on the garment design, fabric, and silhouette.
As size selection is the customer’s responsibility, we cannot guarantee exchanges or refunds for incorrect size selection. However, eligible size exchange requests may be accommodated subject to stock availability and policy terms.
For assistance regarding sizing or fit, customers are encouraged to contact our support team prior to purchase.
5. Exchange Policy
Eligible products may be exchanged for:
- Size replacement
- Defective products
- Incorrect item received
Exchange requests are subject to product availability. If the requested item or size is unavailable, we may offer:
- Store credit
- Alternative product exchange
- Refund, where applicable
Only one exchange request per order/item may be permitted.

7. Refund Policy
Refunds are processed only after the returned item has been received and passed quality inspection.
Approved refunds will:
- Be processed within 8–10 business days
- Be credited to the original payment method
- Exclude shipping or COD charges unless the return is due to our error
Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
8. Order Cancellation
Orders may only be cancelled prior to dispatch.
Once an order has been shipped, cancellation requests cannot be accommodated. Eligible customers may instead initiate a return request after delivery, subject to this policy.
9. Refusal of Returns or Refunds
We reserve the right to decline any return, exchange, or refund request if:
- The item has been used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
- Original tags or packaging are missing
- The request is raised beyond the eligible timeframe
- Mandatory proof, including the unboxing video, is not provided
- The returned item does not match the original purchase
